The joys of Motherhood !

Being a mother to four children is a job in itself...Between ballet practice, homework, playing outside, playdates and the enormous amount of laundry, cleaning and picking up I stay pretty busy. I have worked very hard over the past year and a half on my degree and after this summer will only have two classes and my practicum to go. I have decided to work hard this summer and then to take at least a year off to enjoy this next adventure with my family. My husband will graduate in August of this year and so we plan to have fun with our children enjoying time together without being in school. I am looking forward to actually having down time and being able to get sleep instead of pulling 3 am paper writing sessions all the time. There is a lot planned over the next six months and I am so excited that God is blesssing us so much with his favor....

As of right now we are getting Kate ready for her big weekend of recitals...She has a Jazz Show this year and she will be in another company ballet as well. She is so talented and brings such joy to our lives with her joyful expression. Landon hasn't played any sports yet but has decided that he would like to start taking Karate classes. I do think this will be good for him and give him an outlet to place his energy like dance does for Kate. Well the twins are just excited about their new slide we got for the play room and it is keeping them pretty busy inventing new games. With all of the rain we have had I hated for them not to be able to enjoy playing so we got them a few things to keep them happy on those rainy days...!

My last day of classes is quickly approaching on Friday. This Spring semester is almost over and then two whole days off and summer semester starts back on Monday.....I just hope I can keep up with school and four children's summer plans full of activities.

Well school work is calling and the kids are ready for snacks!
